Leyton is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at The University of British Columbia - Okanagan. His teaching and research are in the areas of inclusive education, literacy and language arts, professional development, and teaching and learning in the middle years. Leyton has been a middle, junior high, and secondary level classroom teacher and a learning resource teacher K-12.
